Unique geographical position of

Transcarpathia allows to learn and play in

original rusyn, Romanian, Hungarian, Slovak, Polish, Ukrainian folk music, without

limiting yourself to politic and other reflections, as here live in piece representatives

of many different nationalities.

“Gudacka Taystra” is an independent creative unit, that doesn’t belong to any

organization and this is one of the most important motive factors in the activity of the

group, as the musicians solve all their problems, creative as well as administrative,

only by themselves.

 A lot of leading artists and creative organizations of Transcarpathia cooperate with

the group from time to time. These are the soloists of Transcarpathian regional

philharmony, Folk artists of Ukraine Petro Matij, Maria Zubanych, Merited artist of

Ukraine Oksana Ilnytska, folk singer Vira Bahanych, Exemplary children’s ensemble

of the dance “Springs of Carpathian”, folk ensemble “Irshava”, etc.
